Birth and early lifeEdit

Mikhail Dostalinsky was born in Svolochovskaya, Dostalinsky Province on 11 February 1977 to Grigoriy and Maria Dostalinsky. Political careerEdit

Dostalinsky joined the Socialist Party of Margovya in 1999, having been recruited by the party during his college years. He joined the SPM through the party's Young Pioneers program, which aims to recruit young Margovyans into the party straight from college.

Realizing the potential for gaining an important electoral foothold in the province of his birth, the SPM made Dostalinsky run for governor of the province with which he shares his name, Dostalinsky Province. He won the 1999 gubernatorial elections, beating his opponent, then-incumbent governor Aleksandr Aleksandrov.
