Annexation of Sabah
While the Malaysian government was still trying to retain control of their country following Doomsday, Philippine troops landed on Sabah and annexed the province. This was met with resistance by the Malaysians but since they were still too busy in the homefront, Malaysia formally handed over control of Sabah to the Philippines in the Treaty of Kuching.
Invasion of Hainan
The Philippines invaded Hainan after the Hainanese tried to claim areas of the Spratly Islands in the West Philippine Sea in the name of the People's Republic of China.
